So I have slacked off on the photo-writing challenge, I know.
As I said there's a lot going on in my world so writing, reading or anything that requires an attention span of more than 5 seconds has been put on the back burner.
I actually dragged out what I've written so far of The Scarlet Cord the other day to see how it was and where I was in the story, I was pleasantly surprised. I also have been reading my old blog I wrote when I was vegan for a year. If you're interested in reading it, check out : www.veganmom.blog.com there were a ton of awesome recipes.
So I have quite a few photo challenges left. I'll do Lens Flare & Portrait today.
Lens Flare:
Her ass was sore and sweat trickled down her back. She sat cross legged on a wooden deck with at least seven splinters in one thigh in a sorry attempt to meditate. How did Buddha do it? Always looking so damn serene. It was 103 degrees on the deck, the wind chimes were silent, and the sun was cooking her pale skin.
Music would help get her in the mood.
She unfolded herself and crawled over to her phone.
While something calming like vague yoga music from YouTube should have been her first pick, she instead chose a much louder, though not less melodic, song.
As the bass and guitar combined, she slowly nodded her head in a slow motion head-bang and realized that to her, this was serenity.
Portrait:
If I only had thumbs, I could drive that damn car she's always escaping in and stick my head out the window, yeah, that would be awesome! For now I guess I'll just mess with her phone, maybe I can call up a few friends to tear up the house or eat the garbage, that always riles her up. What does this button do? Heh, check me out, I look pretty good. I think I'll text this to her at work.
