“The Silver Cord”.
Pull up a chair, pour yourself a glass of mead, and join me for a spell. The weather here in the south is gorgeous and I am writing to you from my deck. Honeysuckle is blooming and the bees are buzzing. There’s energy in the air – SPRING is here!
“The Silver Cord” is the first in my paranormal romance trilogy. A lot of work went into this book, and not just by me.
I was lucky enough to have only 3 edits and a very short wait for the line edit. I am reviewing the ARC (advanced readers copy) as we speak.
My publisher, Champagne Book Group, will have “The Silver Cord” on its Coming Soon page of their site in the next couple of weeks and you will be able to pre-order if you like.
This is it!
I am putting together a blog tour for interviews and to promote the book. ALL types of blogs since there are so many different topics in the book. If you have a blog and are interested in spotlighting my book, tips on writing, or tips on how to turn your snarky coworker into a frog (just kidding!!) contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, we’ll chat! I am also setting up author book signings for September in the Atlanta area – with giveaways! I’ll keep you posted on my Events page on the website here.
I have a little bonus for all of you here tonight!
FYI: There is a playlist and glossary with the book.
Music is my muse and there are so many talented musicians out there with so many amazing songs that affect my writing or mood or remind me of a character or scene.
That being said, here is one song from my book (not going to give away the chapter)
“Welcome Home” by Radical Face
SO why did I pick today to reveal it? (Other than my inability to be patient?)
Today is May 1st, May Day, or Beltane!
Wiccans use the name Beltane for their May Day celebrations. It is one of the yearly Sabbats of the Wheel of the Year.
What better day to reveal my book cover than a day of celebration!
Kat & Jess would be so proud :)
GREAT Info from the Witchvox website:
“Beltane, like Samhain, is a time of 'no time' when the veils between the two worlds are at their thinnest. No time is when the two worlds intermingle and unite and the magic abounds! It is the time when the Faeries return from their winter respite, carefree and full of faery mischief and faery delight.”
Hmmm, magic you say? I believe there’s a little bit of mischief afoot!
One month away from release! I can’t wait for you all to read it and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.

Thank you to my cover artist Trisha FitzGerald at Champagne Book Group for your hard work….
